Downtown San Jose has become an excellent hub for great beer options. With this is mind, a fun new activity has been introduced to the community: The San Jose Brew Bike. Essentially a bar top on wheels, the Brew Bike is a giant, multi-person bike that can accommodate up to 14 people at a time. Working together to peddle this contraption, you and your friends can bar hop in style at all of San Jose’s top beer hotspots.
Each brew bike comes with a designated person to man the wheel and soberly steer this party on wheels. The tour generally lasts a standard two hours and will stop for three different tastings for 30 minutes a piece. You also have the option for an extended tour which allows for a fourth or even fifth stop.
The Brew Bike picks up and drops off its passengers at 286 West San Fernando Street (next to Adobe). This adventure will cost you $25/person Sunday-Thursday and $30/person on Friday-Saturday. This fee includes a designated sober tour guide, bottles of water, and discounts at each stop! The Brew Bike is only open to those 21 and over.
